Priscilla's Session That Didn't Record on July 8, 2020

On July 8, Wednesday, the session I had with Daniel did not record. This was technically the first lesson we had together because on July 7th I had to finish the QRI assessment with him. If you recall his mom cancelled the meeting we had on July 2nd last minute. 

I am linking in the PowerPoint here that Daniel and I worked on that day. The historical edits are in the history for the morning of July 8th which is when I met with Daniel. We meet at 8:15am.  I typed his responses because he was having technical difficulties. 

The purpose for lesson 1 was to collect a writing sample to informally assess Daniel. I noticed in our previous meetings during the QRI he struggled with spelling, so I wanted to get an idea where Daniel stood as a writer and how comfortable he was writing. However, as I mentioned previously he had technical difficulties during this lesson. 

The second purpose was to establish one topic through exploring 3 topics Daniel wanted to know more about. Daniel choose to focus on how to train a dog!
